We are pleased to see you and hope that you will come along to see us!
We meet at the Scout Hut in Letty Green (SG14 2PB for map and sat nav) on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:30 pm.
Our evenings begin with a talk from a guest speaker for about 45 minutes to 1 hour and are followed by an observing session if the sky is clear. Feel free to bring along any viewing aids that you have from binoculars to telescopes.
We will be happy to help you use any of the equipment that you bring along so if you have an old telescope under the stairs then dig it out and bring it along. We are very down to earth people and very will to help you especially if you are a beginner. We all had to start somewhere so don’t be afraid to ask!
We also get invitations to attend the open evenings at the Bayfordbury Observatory throughout the winter months so, if you are willing to man the recruitment stall for a period you get free access to lots of other exciting events. Next open evening: 27 November.
